• Raising and re-gravelling of existing roads. The roads are so low, instead of draining water they are becoming runoff vessels for long distances thereby eroding the edges. To ensure proper grading of the roads, an understanding of the road drainage system is required.
• Repositioning, rising, and re-gravelling on some sections of Chiramba- Buzua road.
• The development of a new tarred, toll-route R-529 from Guru to Caia linking the N7 highway that runs from Manica-Tete Provinces and N1 highway between Sofala and Zambezia Provinces. This road links the four provinces that form the central region of Mozambique, with the ZTC at the center of it. Furthermore, this will complement the travel itinerary for esteemed overland tourists connecting routes like Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, and Mozambique’s popular coastal beaches.
