Apart from the 55 Luxury Lodges to be constructed in the Exclusive Conservation Blocks, Other hotels, lodges and campsites will be developed in the Community Development Area’s 15 Growth Points (Development Centers) to accommodate various other users in the area, including national and provincial government officials, or diplomats, Non-Governmental Organization groups, missionary groups as well as general travelers, holiday makers, overlanders, campers and caravanners travelling between Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe –Tete - Lake Cabora Basa and Northern zone of Mozambique, Beira - Gorongosa National Park. This as well includes agro-traders and farmers from Mutarara and Doa districts on the northern shores of Zambezi river and other surrounding districts who will be accessing the Zambezi Agro Park for market and local trade.
The CDA’s growth points are, among others, Nhacalapo, Nhacafula, Casado, Nhacolo, Sabetha, Sena Buzua, Chiramba, Catuleni, Buzua, Miteme, Chiganda, Sengasenga and Canxixe. In all these Growth points, already there are existing local government administrative, or ministry offices, schools, clinics and churches, etc. This is to maintain the existing cosmology of our CDAs, and promote proper land utilization and management.
These hotels, lodges and campsites will be classified as Community Lodges/ Accommodation whereby Community Development Levy/fee shall be charged, and in addition, the Community will have 20% from the profits of each and every hotel, lodge and campsite within the CDAs. The guests from these amenities are allowed to book day trip game drives or bush walks in ZTC1, 2 and 3. The proceeds from profits sharing and community development levies will be put into the Community Development Fund managed by a special team within the Community Development Committee. These funds will be sorely for community development purposes. This will promote community based tourism, and increase wildlife beneficiation value to the host communities.
Community Lodges will also be utilized by 55 sister lodges located within the wildlife blocks as optional lodges during the peak or high seasons.
Our accommodation options will include either fully catered, or self-catering aesthetic hotels, lodges, bed and breakfast and campsites coming with remarkable views and in-suite luxury and rustic comforts – all supplied with linens, toweling and mosquito nets.Â
All Hotels, Lodges, Recreational facilities and Activities shall be listed on platform associated with the website to manage the bookings.
The ZTC membership point system may be applicable to all listed Hotels and Accommodations.
